Pierre Hermé, the renowned French pastry chef, has expanded his culinary empire to Italy with the opening of a new boutique in Milan‘s Central Station. The move marks a significant step in the international growth of Maison Pierre Hermé Paris, bringing its exquisite macarons and pastries to Italian food lovers.
Located on the platform level near track 8, the boutique offers travelers a taste of French haute pâtisserie in the midst of their travels. Open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., it is the perfect opportunity for commuters and tourists alike to indulge in Hermé’s signature creations.
Visitors can enjoy classic macaron flavors such as Infiniment Vanille and Infiniment Chocolat Paineiras, as well as more adventurous combinations such as Mogador (milk chocolate & passion fruit) and Ispahan (rose, raspberry & lychee). The menu also offers signature drinks to complement the sweet treats.
Gérard d’Onofrio, General Manager of SSP France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy, expressed his excitement about the opening of the boutique: “Italy is an ideal setting for ‘Made in France’ macaroons. We look forward to sharing our bold, gourmet vision of the Pierre Hermé macaron with travelers.“
Pierre Hermé himself commented on the significance of this new venture: “Milan, a city of culture and refinement, embodies values of elegance and modernity that resonate perfectly with our vision of patisserie. This place will, I’m sure, be a true celebration of French art de vivre and savoir-faire, in the heart of Milan’s effervescence.”
The collaboration between SSP Frabeli, Grandi Stazioni and Maison Pierre Hermé Paris brings together expertise in catering, station management and world-class patisserie. This partnership aims to offer a unique gastronomic experience to the diverse clientele passing through Milan’s bustling Central Station.
