Renowned Parisian establishment L’Épicerie Tour d’Argent brings an extraordinary tribute to Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral with its latest release, Notre-Dame de Paris tribute champagne box. This remarkable offering arrives just weeks before the Cathedral reopens in December, marking a significant moment in France’s cultural heritage.
Limited to just 50 sets, this exceptional champagne box features three bottles of the distinguished Cuvée Cathelin Grand Cru 2018. The selection comes from master champagne maker Julien Barbier of R&L Legras, who carefully sourced grapes from the prestigious “Les Crosauts” vineyard in Chouilly.
The champagne itself represents remarkable craftsmanship. Harvested from mature vines planted in the early 1980s, the 2018 vintage has been carefully aged in the cool, dark chambers of traditional champagne cellars until 2023. The result is subtle notes with a perfect balance of acidity and freshness.
What truly sets this collection apart is its thoughtful design elements. The wooden box features an expertly carved metal lid emblazoned with the prestigious Tour d’Argent emblem. Most remarkably, when empty, the box transforms into an illuminated display, creating mesmerizing patterns of light reminiscent of the famous stained glass windows of Notre-Dame.
Available from November 20 for €650, this exclusive Notre-Dame de Paris tribute champagne box can be purchased directly from L’Épicerie Tour d’Argent’s historic location on Quai de la Tournelle or from their online boutique.
