Nike Trail celebrates a decade of serving adventurous athletes around the world with the release of its newest Kiger and ReactX Wildhorse 10 silhouettes. Designed to meet the exact specifications of trail runners around the world, these complementary models showcase Nike’s commitment to innovation and performance.
The Kiger 10 is one of Nike’s most minimal and lightweight trail shoes to date, built for trail races under 50K. It features a Vibram Megagrip outsole for superior traction and durability, and a responsive Cushlon 3.0 midsole for added protection underfoot. The sleek leno weave upper provides specific durability, breathability and containment zones, making it an excellent choice for runners who demand performance and comfort.
On the other hand, the ReactX Wildhorse 10 is designed for a wide range of trail use, from short neighborhood training runs to steep, technical 100Ks. It offers plenty of traction, cushioned responsiveness, and proven containment, making it a reliable and durable silhouette. The updated Wildhorse packs in new features, including a 3mm higher stack height, a forefoot rock shield, and updated toe protection, all while dropping 35 grams from its predecessor.
“The Wildhorse is very personal to me. It’s always been dependable, always been reliable: No matter the terrain or the weather, the Wildhorse performs, holds up and goes the distance,” says Sally McRae, the longtime Nike Trail muse for the Wildhorse silhouette. “I’ll be running my next 200-mile race in the Wildhorse — both because I truly love this new model and because I want to show athletes that you can dream big without wearing the most expensive flagship shoe.”
The 10th editions of the Kiger and Wildhorse, beacons of Nike’s trail innovation, will be available globally in April 2025.
