This innovative take on the classic silhouette marks a significant milestone for the Nike Golf family, fusing the iconic design with golf-specific features.
The Air Max Plus Golf “Sunset” stays true to its roots while incorporating practical elements for the course. The upper features a gradient orange colorway reminiscent of a Florida sunset that transitions from light to dark tones from toe to heel. This vibrant base is complemented by black TPU overlays inspired by palm trees that contrast with the red swoosh on the midfoot.

In a departure from the original mesh construction, Nike uses a more durable and weather-resistant leather upper. This change ensures the shoe can withstand the rigors of a day on the links while maintaining its eye-catching look. Black accents on the lace, sockliner, heel tab and tongue add depth to the design, while red and black Nike Air logos provide subtle branding.
Golf specific touches can be seen on the sole unit. While retaining the classic white and black finish with orange Tuned Air units in the heel and forefoot, the outsole features a spikeless traction pattern. This design choice gives golfers the traction they need without compromising the shoe’s off-course versatility.
Priced at $185, the Nike Air Max Plus Golf “Sunset” will be available in men’s sizes through Nike and select Nike Golf retailers online and in stores beginning January 23, 2025.
