As we welcome in the new season, Bottega Veneta takes center stage with its latest campaign, “Going Places,” starring none other than the dashing Jacob Elordi. The Fall 2024 campaign is a celebration of the brand’s rich heritage, deeply rooted in the art of movement and exploration.
Shot on location in the stunning landscapes of Utah and Nevada by renowned Magnum photographer Alec Soth, the campaign features Elordi in dynamic poses, effortlessly moving through the dramatic natural features and sleek architecture of the desert. The cinematic imagery not only highlights the actor’s versatility, but also showcases Bottega Veneta’s new travel accessories designed to keep up with the active lifestyle of the modern man.
At the heart of Bottega Veneta’s heritage is the concept of movement, which is deeply rooted in the brand’s DNA. Founded in 1966, the house revolutionized the leather goods industry with its soft and malleable designs, a far cry from the formal and structured bags that dominated the market at the time. This pragmatic approach to design has been the driving force behind the brand’s success and continues to inspire Creative Director Matthieu Blazy’s vision for the brand.
For Blazy, Bottega Veneta is more than just a leather goods company – it’s a brand that embodies the spirit of travel and exploration. This spirit is reflected in the “Going Places” campaign, which celebrates the joy of discovery and freedom of movement. The campaign also coincides with the launch of several new Bottega Veneta travel products, including a new edition of the Andiamo bag in canvas and leather, a weekender travel bag in weathered brown leather, and a belt with a snake-inspired buckle.
Standing at an impressive 6’5″, Jacob Elordi takes full advantage of his frame in the campaign, leaping and stretching with ease across the expansive landscapes. His balletic poses add a touch of elegance to the images, while his infectious energy brings the campaign to life.
