Automobili Lamborghini reports staggering figures for the first half of 2024. The iconic Italian marque delivered a record 5,558 vehicles, propelling revenues to an astonishing €1.62 billion – a remarkable 14.1% surge compared to the same period last year. Underpinning this success is the commercial triumph of Lamborghini’s current production trio: the electrifying Revuelto, the unstoppable Urus, and the ever-captivating Huracán.

We are extremely proud of the results we achieved in the first half of 2024,” beamed Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s Chairman and CEO. “We are going through a pivotal phase, supported by the largest investment in the company’s history, with the main objective of expanding our product offering.”

Profitability soared to an impressive 28.2%, a testament to Lamborghini’s strategic acumen and the harmonious balance between deliveries and financial parameters. Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO, echoed Winkelmann’s sentiments, stating, “The positive trend and strong order bank bolster confidence so that, even in a year marked by the transition to hybrid, we can confirm growth of the key financial and business metrics, reflecting the brand’s strength in the luxury and super sports segment.

Lamborghini’s global footprint remains evenly distributed, with EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions accounting for 2,498, 1,849, and 1,211 vehicles delivered, respectively. The United States solidified its position as Lamborghini’s leading market, with an impressive 1,621 cars delivered, followed by Germany (595), the United Kingdom (514), Japan (354), China, Hong Kong, and Macao (337), and Italy (268).

The order books are brimming, with the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid, commanding a wait of over two years. The Huracán’s production run is fully spoken for until its expected closure in December, while the recently unveiled Urus SE has captured the hearts of customers worldwide, with orders covering approximately one year’s production.

If we can maintain this trend, we are likely to exceed last year’s record,” Winkelmann confidently stated, underscoring Lamborghini’s unwavering commitment to continuous innovation and decarbonization through the Direzione Cor Tauri program.

We await the unveiling of the Huracán’s successor at Monterey Car Week on August 16, where last year’s Lanzador concept car offered a tantalizing preview of Lamborghini’s first fully-electric model. This new HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) super sports car will mark the completion of Lamborghini’s range hybridization, featuring an all-new twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a hybrid system for unparalleled performance and an exhilarating driving experience.
