The Agger Fish Building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard was abuzz Tuesday afternoon as COS, the H&M-owned brand under the creative direction of Karin Gustafsson, unveiled its Fall 2024 menswear collection. Known for its dedication to craftsmanship and modern design, COS delivered a collection that combined refined tailoring with a relaxed sensibility.
This season, COS menswear reimagines classic pieces with a focus on ease and wearability. Wide-legged trousers, a dominant silhouette throughout, were cut for a loose, comfortable fit and styled with draped silk shirts for an effortlessly sophisticated look. Oversized jackets, some with rich leather detailing, were paired with fluid trousers for a contemporary take on layering. The color palette remained subdued, allowing the quality of the fabrics and construction to shine through. Tone-on-tone looks, such as suits in tactile cashmere, added a sense of luxurious ease to the collection.
