The most striking feature of this watch is its skeletonized dial, which presents a captivating visual spectacle. A vibrant green chapter ring frames the intricate openwork design, creating a bold contrast to the monochrome backdrop of the hand-wound movement beneath. Super-LumiNova-treated hour markers and hands ensure excellent legibility in all lighting conditions.
At the heart of the ProPilot X Year of the Snake is the impressive in-house Caliber 115. This hand-wound movement boasts an exceptional 10-day power reserve stored in a single barrel. A notable feature is the non-linear power reserve indicator, where the dedicated hand slows its movement as the stored energy is depleted. The movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and is equipped with 38 jewels.
Oris has incorporated several design elements that pay homage to the Year of the Snake. The power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock features a golden hand in the shape of a snake’s tongue, making a thematic reference to the zodiac sign.
