The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series stands out with its unique combination of colors and materials, both inside and out. The Maybach pattern is a consistent design element, adding a touch of elegance throughout the vehicle. At launch, two design concepts will be available: the Red Ambience and the White Ambience. The Red Ambience features a stunning two-tone paint finish of obsidian black metallic over MANUFAKTUR garnet red metallic, while the White Ambience pairs obsidian black metallic with MANUFAKTUR opalite white magno. These colors embody sensuality, beauty, and lightness, perfectly reflecting the philosophy and driving experience of the new model.
The interior is equally impressive, with sustainably tanned, crystal white MANUFAKTUR Exclusive nappa leather and gleaming silver chrome trim parts. The seats feature a new floral design, adding a touch of sophistication to the already luxurious ambience. The fully digital instrument display and electrically adjustable center display incorporate Maybach-specific start-up animations and display styles, further enhancing the driver’s experience.

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is not just about looks; it also offers a superior driving experience. Powered by a 4.0-litre biturbo engine with 430 kW (585 hp), the vehicle ensures dynamic driving pleasure. The smooth-shifting 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, along with the fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, provides high traction even in slippery road conditions, increasing driving safety.
Comprehensive measures have been taken to ensure a quiet and comfortable driving experience. These include a noise-optimised exhaust system, an extensive insulation and absorption package, a comfort-oriented suspension set-up, and soft engine mounts. The standard-fit rear-axle steering combines agility and stability, offering a manoeuvrable and safe driving experience.
Exclusive features
Adding to its exclusivity, the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series features a convertible top with the Maybach logo imprinted dozens of times, creating a pattern similar to that on a Louis Vuitton handbag. For an extra charge, this pattern can also be imprinted onto the hood.
To transform the hard-edged 577-hp SL63 into a luxury grand tourer, Maybach has made several hardware changes. Extensive sound deadening has been added to quiet the cabin, a new quieter exhaust system subdues the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V-8’s thunder, and the suspension has been recalibrated to soften the ride. The seats have been given additional padding, and the AMG SL63’s nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive system are retained.

Pricing and availability
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series will be available in Europe starting in spring 2025, with other markets to follow. While the exact pricing has not been announced, it is expected to be in the neighborhood of $250,000, making it an exclusive offering for discerning buyers.
