adidas is expanding its presence in the growing sport of padel with the introduction of the CRAZYQUICK Padel shoes collection, which will be available worldwide from December 1, 2024. The new line underscores adidas’ commitment to providing innovative products for padel enthusiasts.
At the heart of the CRAZYQUICK Padel collection are two exciting new models: the CRAZYQUICK Boost Padel and the COURTQUICK Padel. Both shoes are designed to provide players with the best adidas technologies to help them move quickly around the court and to the net. The CRAZYQUICK Boost Padel is designed specifically for elite players and features a lightweight and breathable design that provides enhanced stability, cushioning and energy return.
Three key technologies were used to create the CRAZYQUICK Boost Padel: the BOOST INSERT, the TPU midfoot stabilizer and the multidirectional rubber outsole. The BOOST INSERT uses foam capsules to provide powerful energy return for dynamic and explosive movements, such as playing at the net or making a quick return. TPU Midfoot Stabilizer provides critical support around the foot without restricting movement or compromising comfort, allowing the foot to pivot rather than roll or twist. The Multi-Directional Rubber Outsole is segmented, with each segment placed according to the movement patterns seen in padel to provide grip and traction in all directions.
“We are thrilled to introduce this exciting new line of footwear to the world of padel,” said Kerryn Foster, GM Specialist Sports adidas. “Our goal is to provide athletes of all levels with the best products to help them perform at their best. With the CRAZYQUICK Padel collection, we’re confident that players will be able to play with freedom and speed, whether they’re on the professional circuit or on their local court.”
The COURTQUICK Padel is a performance-oriented shoe designed for the everyday joys of padel. It features a lightweight and breathable upper that provides durability and lateral stability through technologies such as the TPU midfoot stabilizer and Cloud Foam+ midsole. The adiwear rubber outsole provides traction for multi-directional movement on the court.
The CRAZYQUICK paddle line has been inspired and influenced by testing with players of all levels, including some of the game’s leading players. Martita Ortega, one of the world’s leading padel players, was involved in the development of the range and provided valuable insight and feedback. “Anything that helps me perform slightly better is a big advantage, so I know how vital it is to have the right footwear,” she said. “I’ve had this in mind when providing insights for the CRAZYQUICK Padel franchise, and I’m really excited to get out there and play in them myself.“
The CRAZYQUICK franchise is adidas’ latest commitment to the rapidly growing sport of padel. Over the past 10 years, the brand has supplied paddles to some of the world’s best players through its licensing partnership with All For Padel. All For Padel has built over 3,000 adidas courts in 48 countries and the brand is now the official court supplier for the Pro Padel League in the USA.
The CRAZYQUICK Padel collection will be available in the adidas app, in stores and on the adidas website starting December 1, 2024.
