SONGZIO, the renowned fashion house, has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024 Fall/Winter campaign, titled “Night Thieves.” Photographed by the internationally acclaimed Chogiseok, this campaign marks the brand’s second collaboration with the South Korean photographer, known for his unique and surrealistic images.
The “Night Thieves” campaign introduces a series of antiheroes who embody a duality of characteristics. These figures are portrayed as calm yet rowdy, eerie yet earthly, and dark yet gleaming. They represent individuals who control the seemingly uncontrollable night, evoking a sense of mystery and intrigue.
Inspired by the mythological tale of Prometheus, who was punished for stealing fire from the gods, the campaign draws parallels between the antiheroes and the Greek titan. Just as Prometheus brought fire to humanity, the “Night Thieves” are depicted as those who bring chaos and control the darkness, symbolizing a complex blend of rebellion and enlightenment.
The campaign is structured into seven distinct chapters, set to be released in two parts. The first part, scheduled for August 2024, includes four chapters: “Night Thieves,” “Antihero,” “Corruption,” and “Solitude.” Each chapter delves into a different aspect of the antiheroes’ personas, exploring themes of defiance, introspection, and the human condition.
The second part, slated for October 2024, will feature the remaining three chapters: “Prometheus,” “Chaos,” and “Fire.” These chapters promise to delve deeper into the mythological underpinnings of the campaign, offering a rich and layered narrative that blends ancient tales with modern fashion.
Chogiseok’s photography captures the essence of these antiheroes with a masterful blend of artistry and surrealism. His unique style brings a fresh perspective to the SONGZIO brand, showcasing the intricate details of the Fall/Winter collection while maintaining a strong thematic focus on the “Night Thieves.”
