At the 2024 Paris Motor Show, Citroën unveils the all-new C4 and C4 X models. Building on exceptional momentum, the French automaker aims to relaunch these key offerings in the competitive C-segment.
Citroën’s bold design evolution
The new C4 and C4 X showcase Citroën’s commitment to modern, streamlined design. Both models feature a redesigned front end that incorporates the brand’s new logo and a more assertive presence. The rear of the C4 has been refined for improved aerodynamics and visual appeal.
Pierre Leclerc, Citroën Design Director, explains: “The new Citroën C4 and C4 X represent a significant evolution in our design language. Not only do they display refined elegance, they also express a more robust character, a muscular presence that testifies to our determination to continue to stand out from the crowd“.
Unmatched comfort: a Citroën hallmark
Comfort remains a top priority for Citroën. The new models feature redesigned Citroën Advanced Comfort® seats with thicker foam for enhanced comfort. Combined with the Advanced Comfort® suspension, these seats turn every journey into a relaxing experience.
Technological interior
Inside, drivers will find a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The addition of ChatGPT integration takes the in-car experience to new heights, offering a more intuitive and interactive interface.
Safety and driver assistance
Up to 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are available, including Active Safety Brake, Highway Driver Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go. These features provide a safer and more relaxed driving experience.
Electrification at the forefront
Citroën is at the forefront of electrification, offering both hybrid and all-electric powertrains. The Hybrid 136 and Hybrid 100 versions offer an accessible entry into electrified driving, while the fully electric ë-C4 and ë-C4 X offer a range of up to 425 km (WLTP).
For those not ready to go all-electric, the 1.2-liter 130 EAT8 turbo PureTech engine remains an option in selected markets.
Practical and spacious
Both models offer generous interior space, with the C4 X boasting a 510-litre boot capacity. The C4 offers 198 mm of knee room in the rear, rated best in class, ensuring comfort for all passengers.
The new Citroën C4 and C4 X represent a significant step forward in the C-segment, offering a compelling blend of style, comfort and technology. With their focus on electrification and user-centric design, these models are poised to make a strong impact in the competitive compact car market. The redesigned C4 and C4 X will be launched in early 2025.
