As part of the brand’s “Highlighter” pack, the Nike Air Max Sunder “Electric Green” pair is set to join its “Canyon Gold” counterpart in August, following a July release. This highly anticipated drop marks the last of the retro models showcased during Nike‘s debut SNKRS Showcase livestream in 2023.
For those unfamiliar with the Air Max Sunder, its return is a welcome revival of a classic design. First introduced in the late 1990s, the Sunder quickly gained popularity for its sleek neoprene shroud layer, durable TPU pieces, and of course, the iconic Air Max technology. Fast forward to the present, and the 2024 iteration promises to deliver the same comfort and style that made its predecessor a beloved favorite.
The “Electric Green” color scheme is undoubtedly the most eye-catching of the trio, with its bright, highlighter-inspired hue covering the neoprene shroud layer. A black mudguard adds a touch of contrast, while silver TPU pieces complement the overall aesthetic. The shoe’s white midsole cleverly conceals the matching green Air bubbles, creating a fun surprise for those who take a closer look.
As with the other two colorways, the Air Max Sunder “Electric Green” is available on the SNKRS app and at select retailers for $180.
In addition to the Air Max Sunder, Nike has a slew of other releases planned for the remainder of the year. One notable example is the LD-1000 runner, which is set to make a comeback later this year.
