Nike‘s efforts to reinvigorate the Foamposite fandom are gaining momentum with the recent re-release of the iconic Royal OGs and the return of the Galaxy Foamposites in 2025. The brand’s strategy to make the Foamposite great again is evident in the latest release of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Wolf Grey”. This two-tone colorway features reflective uppers and a cement-like finish on the grey sections, reminiscent of the 2008 Metallic Silver Foamposite Pros.
Introduced in the late ’90s, the Foamposite line revolutionized sneaker culture with its bold, molded synthetic uppers. The Air Foamposite Pro carved its own legacy, thanks in part to its prominent swoosh and sleek aesthetic. Over the years, the Pro version has garnered a loyal following, balancing its reputation as both a high performance basketball shoe and a streetwear staple.
The Wolf Grey colorway brings a modern flair to the classic silhouette of the Foamposite Pro. The cool gray upper is accented with bold black details and a glossy black swoosh for a perfect blend of understated and bold. This iteration keeps the signature Foamposite durability intact, with the molded upper providing durability and that instantly recognizable, almost futuristic look.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Wolf Grey” is set to release on October 23, 2024 for $230. It will be available at SNKRS and select retailers.
