The LEGO Group has once again teamed up with British supercar manufacturer McLaren Automotive to pay homage to one of the world’s most groundbreaking hybrid hypercars, the McLaren P1. This new collaboration introduces the LEGO Technic McLaren P1, a 1:8 scale model that embodies the innovative spirit of the original car.
Launched in 2013, the McLaren P1 was a game-changer in the automotive world, boasting cutting-edge technology, exceptional performance and striking design. Its impressive specifications and capabilities made it an instant icon, and the LEGO Technic team has worked tirelessly to capture its essence in this new model.
The LEGO Technic McLaren P1 is made up of 3,893 pieces, each carefully crafted to reflect the features of the original car. It comes with a 7-speed gearbox, suspension, V8 piston engine, adjustable rear wing and dihedral doors that open with an advanced mechanism.
