GmbH designers Benjamin Alexander Huseby and Serhat Isik unveiled their Spring 2025 collection at Berlin Fashion Week, marking a return to their roots for the brand and the city’s fashion scene. The showcase, held atop the Tempodrom performance center, blended athletic inspiration with Middle Eastern musical influences, creating a uniquely Berlin experience.
The collection’s standout pieces included white seamed athletic tees paired with gray short shorts adorned with dandyish fringe, inspired by Muay Thai attire. Sportif paneled bias-cut dresses shimmered with sequins, while cotton shirts featured curvilinear cutouts, complemented by capacious khaki shorts.
GmbH’s signature aesthetic was evident in wide-shouldered bombers emblazoned with the brand’s insignia, worn over cargo-pocketed jeans. The designers also introduced hooded suiting that seamlessly merged goth, romantic, and Olympian influences, paired with distinctive square-toed ankle boots.
Despite initial weather challenges, the show proceeded with a live classical Middle Eastern orchestra, adding a rich cultural layer to the presentation. This homecoming collection showcased GmbH’s evolution, offering a streamlined, sinuous, and sensual array of garments that epitomize the brand’s cool, effortless style.
The Spring 2025 lineup demonstrated Huseby and Isik’s growing confidence and creative prowess, solidifying GmbH’s position as a frontrunner in Berlin’s burgeoning fashion landscape. With its blend of sportswear elements, tailoring innovations, and cultural references, the collection reaffirms Berlin’s status as a hub for avant-garde fashion design.
