Diesel‘s Spring 2025 menswear collection pushes the boundaries of denim innovation, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and elevated design. Creative Director Glenn Martens presents a forward-thinking approach to circular fashion, transforming waste into wearable art.
The collection features a range of reimagined denim pieces, from micro shorts with intricate embroidery to distressed jeans with tufted front seams. Martens elevates everyday staples such as cotton sweatshirts and tanks, using innovative techniques such as devoré jacquard to create intentionally distressed necklines.
Tailoring takes center stage with double-loom jacquard suits that are lasered to reveal contrasting warp and weft. This meticulous attention to detail extends to outerwear, including a standout double-breasted leather jacket treated to mimic the iconic texture of denim.
Diesel’s commitment to sustainability shines through in pieces made from recycled materials. An artisanal coat made entirely from leftover spools of denim thread exemplifies the brand’s efforts to reduce waste. The Diesel Rehab Denim line, which includes a full-length monk coat and oversized jeans, is made from 100% recycled cotton from the brand’s own production waste.
Accessories complement the collection, with the Play bag featuring classic Diesel bandana prints and the debut of the sculptural Play-Double-D bag. Shoe options range from the sheer-soled Lake platform mule to trompe l’oeil boots designed to resemble skin-tight jeans.
