Bodega and ASICS are at it again, serving up a fresh take on the Gel-Kayano 20 that’s sure to perk up sneakerheads and coffee lovers alike. This latest collaboration, dubbed the “Friends & Family” edition, brings a rich blend of Vietnamese coffee-inspired colors to the iconic running shoe.
The sneaker’s upper is a delicious mix of browns and beiges, reminiscent of a perfectly brewed cup of joe. Pops of green add a fresh twist with neon accents on the collar and laces, while a deep forest green in the gel cushioning is a nod to coffee plantations. Blue details round out the palette, creating a visually striking shoe that’s as complex as a good espresso.
But Bodega doesn’t just serve up eye candy. This release comes with a side of actual coffee – a bag of Vietnamese brew from Nguyen Coffee Supply, to be exact.
