adidas has teamed up with Marvel Studios to bring you a collection inspired by the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine film. This is a celebration of two iconic characters and their distinct personalities, translated into stylish and functional footwear.
The collection features a unique blend of adidas Originals and performance footwear, showcasing the irreverent humor of Deadpool and the stoic intensity of Wolverine. The centerpiece is the Rivalry Low shoe, available in two distinct iterations, each reflecting the character it embodies. The Deadpool-inspired Rivalry Low boasts a vibrant color scheme and cheeky details, including tongue-in-cheek jokes on the sock liners and censored language characters.
And let’s not forget the storage pouches! This nod to Deadpool’s penchant for carrying an excessive amount of gear on his costume is a fun touch that will surely resonate with fans. The Wolverine-inspired Rivalry Low, on the other hand, opts for a more subdued color scheme, paying homage to the classic yellow Wolverine Super Hero suit, which makes its cinematic debut in the film.
adidas has also included an adizero Electric cleat, designed for performance and bearing the Deadpool aesthetic. Graphic tees and an adidas Originals silhouette, which will be unveiled alongside the film’s release, complete the collection.
