The Loro Piana Spring 2025 Men’s Collection ushers in a new era of elegance, showcasing the brand’s unparalleled craftsmanship and heritage with a focus on linen. This season’s collection celebrates the quintessential summer fabric, blending tradition with innovation to create a timeless yet contemporary wardrobe for the discerning man.
Linen, the star of the collection, is reimagined with Loro Piana‘s unmistakable savoir-faire and personal sense of elegance. The fabric is expertly blended with heirloom fibers such as cashmere, silk and sopra visso, resulting in effortless shapes and refined details that pay homage to the unique style of Sergio and Pier Luigi Loro Piana.
Drawing on the 150-year legacy and rich archives of Solbiati, a renowned linen company acquired by the Maison over a decade ago, the collection experiments with different textures and shapes. As spring gives way to summer, the fabrics become progressively lighter, moving from the tactile intensity of Linen Tweed to the technical innovation of Linen Storm, and from the ecological richness of the lotus flower to the suppleness of Linen Flower.
Softness is the defining characteristic of Loro Piana’s menswear, with pieces designed to move naturally on and around the body, suggesting ease and encouraging harmony with the environment. Unstructured blazers, the iconic Spagna jacket in a light brown hue, and fluid shirt jackets, along with suede bombers and knit blazers, bring a sense of propriety to casual wear. Coats are long and roomy, creating a tall silhouette, while the outdoors spirit is captured in nautical red anoraks and the iconic Horsey® jacket in brown.
Tailoring is soft and minimal, with collarless jackets and shirts matching suits in color. Blazers are paired with roomy Bermuda shorts, and denim of varying weights is cut into workwear-inspired jackets and trousers, as well as chambray shirts. For an exotic touch, there are long silk shirts.
For evening wear, the collection is all black and white, maintaining Loro Piana’s signature lightness and suppleness in construction. Pieces include the Spagna jacket with satin details, double-breasted tuxedos in wool and silk, and stand-up Spagna shirts with no bow ties.
Footwear options range from lace-ups and babouches to sandals to ground the looks. The oversized leather Bale bag and the weekender version of the Loom are key accessories, offered this season in linen and leather iterations that suggest on-the-go practicality.
Eyewear is a highlight this season, with a collection of high-performance sunglasses featuring advanced lenses and elegant signature details. Crafted in Japan by master artisans from premium acetate and metals, the frames are named after iconic Loro Piana garments such as the Traveller, the André, the Icer and the Roadster.
