The Nike Air Max Plus “Notebook Scribbles” is set to make a statement this fall, capturing the essence of summer freedom and the joy of a well-deserved break from the classroom. As students across the nation eagerly await the final bell, Nike designers have channeled that anticipation into a sneaker that celebrates the end of a long school year.
Drawing inspiration from the doodles and scribbles that adorn notebooks during those final days of class, the Air Max Plus “Notebook Scribbles” features insole graphics reminiscent of a cherished journal. This theme, also showcased on the Air Force 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 1, creates a cohesive collection that resonates with students and sneaker enthusiasts alike.
While the notebook-inspired insoles may be hidden from view when the shoes are worn, the upper of the Air Max Plus “Notebook Scribbles” demands attention with its unconventional materials. Official images reveal a unique base that mimics the texture of gym shorts and other mesh-heavy athletic fabrics, adding a sporty and casual vibe to the sneaker.
The heel of the shoe is crafted from collegiate green canvas, deviating from the traditional leather construction and adding a pop of color that complements the overall design. The mudguard, eyelets, and rubber toe cap also feature green accents, creating a harmonious color scheme that ties the elements together seamlessly.
One of the most striking features of the Air Max Plus “Notebook Scribbles” is the TPU overlays, which showcase a mesmerizing white-to-green gradient. This gradient effect is a signature element of the Air Max Plus silhouette and adds depth and dimension to the sneaker.
Sneakerheads can find hidden gems within the insoles. Detailed drawings of Nike shoes, catchy slogans, and graffiti-inspired illustrations of the letter “S” pay homage to the artwork that often graces the pages of school notebooks.
While an official release date has not been announced, it is anticipated that the Nike Air Max Plus “Notebook Scribbles” will hit shelves during the fall 2024 shopping season.
