Palace Skateboards has announced that they’re signing with Nike, marking their first partnership since ending their decade-long relationship with adidas. The London-based skateboarding company is planning to debut their collaboration on the highly anticipated Nike Air Max DN8, which is scheduled for release during the 2025 holiday season.
Palace Skateboards, known for breaking new ground in streetwear since 2009, is taking a bold step by joining forces with Nike. This new partnership marks a big change in the skateboarding and sneaker world, especially after Palace’s successful ten-year run with Adidas from 2014 to 2024.
The Nike Air Max DN8 is the perfect canvas for this groundbreaking partnership. Building on the success of the Air Max DN, the DN8 features the latest in Dynamic Air technology across its full-length sole unit. The model shows that Nike is committed to pushing innovation while still staying true to its street credibility.
We’ve heard that the Palace x Nike Air Max DN8 will launch between October and December 2025, but the exact dates are still up in the air. The collaboration is coming out not long after the general release colorways, which are set to launch during Spring 2025’s Air Max Day celebrations.
The Air Max DN8 builds on Nike’s revolutionary Dynamic Air cushioning system, extending the tubular Air bags across the whole sole length. This improvement promises better comfort and responsiveness, making the wearing experience better than its predecessor.
