Since 2021, adidas SPZL and C.P. Company have joined forces to create some of the most coveted pieces in modern fashion. This collaboration reaches new heights as adidas SPZL and C.P. Company present a comprehensive collection of apparel, footwear and accessories to celebrate the Italian label’s 10th anniversary.
The footwear selection features six signature adidas SPZL silhouettes, each reimagined through the unique perspective of C.P. Company. A standout is the CP Wimberly SPZL, inspired by a rare perforated Canadian edition of the adidas Universal from the 1980s. This model comes in two material iterations. The first features whites and creams reminiscent of the vintage Universal, updated with premium modern materials. It features a leather upper with 3 stripe webbing, zig-zag decorative stitching, serrated eye stays and a perforated toe box. The second version features an all suede upper for a different texture and feel.
Another highlight is the CP Helvellyn SPZL, inspired by the adidas Nepal hi-top outdoor boot. This winter-ready silhouette comes in a timeless sand and gray colorway with suede overlays, mesh sockliners, gunmetal D-rings, a gusseted tongue and an outdoor leather lining. The CP SL 83 SPZL expands on the design language of the adidas SL 82 with the addition of a T-Toe and a mix of materials to create subtle variations of olive green on the upper.
Returning icons include the CP Manchester SPZL, one of the most coveted silhouettes in adidas SPZL history. Reintroduced for the anniversary, it is reimagined through the lens of C.P. Company with upgraded premium materials, added eyelets and zigzag stitching on the stripes. Additionally, the CP Italia SPZL makes a comeback in a premium leather construction with a suede toe cap and a royal blue and white colorway, a nod to the previous collaboration.
The apparel collection is a fusion of signature pieces from both brands, reworked in a true cultural exchange. The designs integrate SPZL’s aesthetic into C.P. Company’s graphic language, featuring the famous C.P. Company sailor and referencing graphic placements from the Mille Miglia jackets of the 1980s.
The range includes a sweatshirt featuring the iconic C.P. Company sailors in adidas SPZL gear. There are also short and long sleeve pocket tees that pay homage to the graphics of C.P. Company’s early Mille Miglia jackets. Other notable pieces include a collaborative logo tee and a half-zip knit that updates the first Mod Trefoil garment from SPZL’s inaugural season in 2014. A matching track top and pants are crafted from fine-needle cord, elevating the Settend 2 tracksuit that adidas SPZL released in 2015.
The outerwear range is highlighted by two exceptional jackets: the CP SPZL Puffer Jacket and the CP SPZL Flying Jacket. Both showcase the highest level of Italian craftsmanship and feature removable branding options. Crafted from flat nylon – a material with a light resin finish on the reverse – each jacket features front pockets, embroidered logo patches on the chest and the signature C.P. Company lens on the left wrist, designed specifically for this collaboration. The Flying Jacket is inspired by classic aviation styles and features a fleece-lined collar for comfort and a nod to vintage flight jackets.
Accessories round out the collection, including a side bag, two hats and a pair of gloves, each reflecting the collaborative spirit and attention to detail synonymous with both brands.
To mark the collection’s arrival, an ensemble of longtime friends and collaborators from both labels came together for a campaign rooted in shared experiences and authentic camaraderie. Featuring talents such as Ashley Walters, Stephen Graham, Goldie, Robert Brooks and Toby Mclellan, the cinematic campaign blends documentary and theatrical elements to weave a story of friendship and celebration. Directed by &SON and shot by acclaimed photographer Kevin Cummins, the campaign adds a personal touch to the launch of the collection.
